Truth and Discernment

Week 3 Bible Study

As we begin to live more consciously, another layer naturally emerges.

We begin to sense the difference between what feels true…

and what does not.

This is the beginning of discernment.

Truth brings freedom

“The truth shall make you free.” — John 8:31–32

Truth is not something that confines.

It does not create fear or pressure.

It brings clarity.

It creates space.

It allows us to breathe more deeply.

Learning to recognise the voice

“My sheep hear my voice…” — John 10:3–5

This speaks to something very personal.

Over time, as we become more present,

we begin to recognise what feels aligned.

Not intellectually…

but within.

What is true begins to feel familiar.

What is not… begins to feel off.

The role of humility

“The greatest among you shall be your servant.” — Matthew 23:11–12

True wisdom does not need to prove itself.

It does not elevate itself above others.

It is grounded.

It is steady.

It is expressed through service and humility.

A gentle reflection

  • What feels true and freeing within me?

  • What am I being invited to trust… or release?

There is no need to force clarity.

It unfolds, slowly and naturally, as we remain open.
